DeMarcus Cousins might have given himself and Anthony Davis the perfect nickname

DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis are the latest dominant big-man duo in NBA history – following in the footsteps of Tim Duncan and David Robinson and the league’s original Twin Towers of Hakeem Olajuwon and Ralph Sampson.

So the pairing's nickname is pretty cut and dry, right? Well, Cousins might have offered one that the New Orleans Pelicans fans potentially could latch on to.

During his introductory news Wednesday, Cousins was asked about how his fiery personality will mesh with the more laid-back approach of Davis.

“You’ve got a little fire and a little ice,” Cousins told reporters.

Maybe Cousins had just finished watching “Blades of Glory,” which named one of its most memorable skating routines the same thing.
