Coach challenges Lillard to sneaker wager over college hoops game
The Montana Grizzlies will face the Weber State Wildcats in the Big Sky title game on Saturday, with the winner receiving an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
But Oregon State head basketball coach (and Grizzlies alumnus) Wayne Tinkle wants to make things a little more interesting.
@Dame_Lillard I'll bet a pair of custom Nike's vs your Adidas on the Griz tonight, you game? Loser has 2 post a selfie in the others sneaks!

Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers is perhaps the Wildcats' most famous athlete, and is one of adidas basketball's signature sneaker endorsers. Oregon State, meanwhile, is a Nike-sponsored school.
There's no word from Lillard yet on whether or not he'll accept, but we'd consider it a longshot, at best.
It's too big of a risk for adidas to have one of their strongest basketball endorsers photographed wearing their main competitor's kicks, and there's really nothing for Lillard to gain if he wins -- because really, who cares what sneakers are worn by a relatively random college basketball coach?
