Chris Paul Lifts Los Angles Clippers to victory with his double-double against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Chris Paul helped Lob City forget about their debacle Wednesday night against the Warriors.

He did this by assisting his team to a victory Saturday night. Also, the Clippers won this game without one of their stars Blake Griffin.

Don’t worry Clippers fans, Griffin is healthy.

He is just resting therefore he doesn’t injury himself easily. Rest for all NBA players no matter of age is important.

If no rest, they have a higher chance of getting injured because of the many amount minutes they play, which can cause wear and tear without proper rest to and for their body.

Chris Paul was not resting last night.

This ended up being excellent news for the Clippers. Chris Paul scored 20 points along with 20 assists and this was his first career 20/20 game.

Chris Paul and his historic performance reaped benefits for teammates including Marreese Speights, Jamal Crawford, Wesley Johnson, and Austin Rivers.

Speights had a spectacular performance himself, in which he earned himself a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Then again, Speights and Paul were not the only Clippers in double figures.

There were a total of 7 Clippers who recorded points in the double digits. Every starter but but Luc Mbah a Moute reached north of ten points including three players on the bench.

Mbah a Moute doesn’t score many points, then again he simply is in the starting lineup to be a lock down defender which he was tonight.

However, lock down defense doesn’t mean stopping your defender from scoring many points, it simply means making defensive plays at the right time.

His defense proves that to accomplish their return to the playoffs it takes everything. This sport is a team sport and it takes everyone playing together as one to return to the postseason.

Chris Paul had 20 assists in which helped lead Speights to earn a double-double.

Who will have the next career or historic performance on the Clippers?
