Cavs' Irving, Shumpert reportedly take part in practice

The Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to play this season with their regular starting lineup, but that might change in the near future.

Starting guards Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert took part in some portions of practice Monday, Cleveland.com reported.

Irving is rehabbing from knee surgery after he was injured in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Shumpert had surgery on his right wrist in September.

"We had a moderated practice that we were able to get them to take part in a good piece of it," Cavs coach David Blatt told reporters. "Day to day, making a little bit more progress."

Despite not having their starting backcourt this season, the Cavaliers have the best record in the Eastern Conference.
