Bucks will be without Jabari Parker, Giannis Antetokounmpo for opener

One thing Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd loves about his roster is how versatile it is, and that will be tested right away on opening night. That's because the Bucks will be without Jabari Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo for their first regular season game against the New York Knicks. 

Parker, who is still recovering from an ACL tear that ended his rookie season last year, isn't quite ready to play yet. 

Antetokounmpo, meanwhile, will serve his one-game suspension for the league that was handed down in last year's playoff series against the Chicago Bulls. 

Here's what Jason Kidd told Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:  

"Working Jabari back in is something as a team we've got to get used to, because that's just what it is," Kidd said. "But in the bigger picture it's just to get everybody healthy and everybody going. "That's our main objective right now."
