Bucks GM Hammond: We feel good at pick No. 17

Milwaukee Bucks GM John Hammond is no stranger to wheeling and dealing on draft day. The Bucks traded down in both the 2011 and 2012 NBA Drafts, and it's possible there could be some shifting once again this season.

Hammond does seem to be pleased with the players that the Bucks worked out and could draft with the 17th pick in the upcoming draft, however.

Here's what Hammond told Charles Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

"We feel good at 17," Hammond said. "You start getting in that range where you hope you can get a rotation player. Sometimes in that range you can get a little luckier and even get a starter."

"Hopefully it's a keeper piece and a player that can be a contributor." Hammond said the Bucks have a group of four or five players at the 17th spot, "guys we've kind of zeroed in on...and we're excited about that player."
