Bucks close to contract extension with John Henson
The Milwaukee Bucks and young center John Henson haven't been able to agree to a contract extension quite yet, but that may be changing soon.
Henson, who will become a restricted free agent this offseason if he doesn't agree to an extension before this year's deadline, recently told Gary Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times that he and the team are still negotiating a deal:
“We’re close,’’ Henson said of contract talks. “We’re just trying to work out some details. It’s a process; we’ll see what happens. But I definitely want to be here for a long time.’’
Henson averaged 7.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 18.3 minutes a game last season.
