Bucks center Bogut back with team

Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut returned to the team Tuesday after rushing back to his native Australia due to a family illness, the Journal Sentinel reported.

Bogut declined to go into much detail about the situation, but he noted that the experience had left him shaken.

"It's one of those issues that's tough to swallow, tough to see and tough to talk about, and you've just got to get through it," the seven-footer said.

"There was a family emergency involving a hospital, and I'll just leave it at that. It opened up a whole lot of other issues. It's been addressed. I'm going to try to forget about it. The best way to forget about it, my temple, is kind of the basketball court."

He thanked the Bucks organization, including owner Herb Kohl and general manager John Hammond, for their understanding and support.

Bogut was a late scratch from the Bucks' game at Utah a week ago and missed the next four games.

The 27-year-old will return to the lineup Tuesday night when the Bucks host San Antonio.

The 2005 No. 1 draft pick averaged 10 rebounds and 14.3 points in Milwaukee's first four games.
