Thoughts

As expected, the Nets did not win any games this week. The Nets faced the top teams of the NBA in one week and were not able to steal a win. There is not much to say about the Nets’ performance. Turnovers were a big factor in the Nets losing this week. The Nets had more turnovers in each game they played this week, and it hurt any chances of them staying in the game.

Nets Enforcer: Trevor Booker

Season Stat Averages

9.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 52% FG

More from Nothin' But Nets

Every week, Trevor Booker gets looked over because he will have two outstanding games and then a lesser performance. It is always hard to pick him because other guys on the team will end up having a better week than Booker. But since no player had an outstanding week, I felt it was time to give Booker the love he deserves.

Booker is really an enforcer player for the Nets. He plays with a sense of urgency every game and he hustles and scraps for rebounds and loose balls. He is the definition of Brooklyn Grit. Everything Booker does will not show up in the box score, and that is why it is important to shine light how important he is to this team.

    Where can the Nets Improve?

Like every other week, the Nets still have problems in the same areas: defense and rebounding. But one thing that changed this week was the Nets’ turnovers. The Nets coughed up the ball more than usual this week, and it definitely hindered the Nets in their games this week.

As always, fans are holding out hope that Sean Marks can find a way to improve the Nets’ roster. Of course, Marks would have to be very selective in trades because the Nets cannot afford to trade anymore picks. If Marks could find a trade that will improve the Nets in the areas they are lacking, they may be able to win more than one game a week.
