Brooklyn Nets unveil gorgeous 'Remix' alternate uniform

The offseason of the alternate jersey continues!

This week the Brooklyn Nets became the latest NBA team to unveil a new alternate jersey for the upcoming season, rolling out these beauties:

The "Remix" jerseys keep the modern Nets' simple black and white color scheme but draw inspiration from the jerseys that the team wore from 1984-1990. Here's a look at the classics:

“The Brooklyn Remix uniforms represent a fusion of the past and the present,” said Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, in a statement. “By combining elements from the team’s most iconic uniforms, we’ve created a modernized look that emphasizes our heritage and defines today’s lifestyle brand.”

There have been several new alternates trotted out across the NBA this summer/fall, and they have ranged from amazing (the Wizards' patriotic "Stars & Stripes" threads) to putrid (looking at you, Orlando Magic.) Thankfully, Brooklyn's land closer to the former.

It actually may just be the Nets' best uniform since the team moved to Brooklyn from New Jersey back in 2012. This year's team may not play any good, but at least they'll look pretty...for 12 games.
