Breaking down LeBron James' strange, cryptic tweets and the future of the Cavs

Ominous!

LeBron James sent out that tweet while licking his wounds in Miami following a three-games-in-four-nights stretch for the Cavaliers that yielded two losses and one unconvincing win.

Just six years after the first Rage-Quit that resulted in James "taking his talents to South Beach," he's back there enjoying a mid-week vacation with old friends and tweeting passive aggressive stuff like someone in the penultimate stage of a stale relationship. Is this definitive proof that he's leaving Cleveland again? Of course not. But let's play around with it anyway. Pull on your tinfoil hats.

The loss to the Raptors on Saturday was one thing-- Kyle Lowry had a career-best 43 points and hit his first game-winner since his days at Villanova. You can chalk that up to divine providence. But the blowout loss to the Wizards the following night was another thing entirely. James sat that one out and the rest of the team he helped pieced together looked entirely helpless without him.

But whatever. Neither the Wizards nor the Raptors are actual title contenders. There's another issue here that's bigger still.

James returned to Cleveland to write the final chapters of his storybook career by winning a couple more championships and lessening the uncrossable gap between himself and that bald guy he's always compared to. Then Steph Curry and the Warriors happened, and being that Golden State has three of their biggest pieces signed to long-term contracts under the max and might be getting a few more this offseason, it's looking more and more unlikely that James will win another title period, let alone one with this supporting cast.

Maybe that's why he took #TheLand out of his Twitter bio. Maybe those tweets on Tuesday weren't about Kyrie Irving or Kevin Love. Maybe they were about the whole "Coming Home" thing being a mistake!

Now take off your tinfoil hats.

The Cavs don't get that many vacation days, so why not spend them in Miami where it's currently a balmy 78 degrees versus spending them in Cleveland where it's 33 and snowing? And maybe hanging out with his "brothers" Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade was so much fun that he felt the need to let the entire Internet know about it. You do it all the time with Instagram and your food.

As for taking #TheLand out of his bio, let's be real with ourselves. "#TheLand" was a stupid thing to begin with.

The Cavaliers take on the Wizards again this Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports Ohio.
