Boston has 'expressed very high interest' in Justin Anderson

With the 16th and 28th picks in this month's draft, the Boston Celtics will likely target big men who can protect the rim and versatile wings who play ends and can shoot. Since there aren't too many of the former lying around, it seems like the latter will be their primary focus.

Virginia forward Justin Anderson is a perfect fit. He's 6'6", plays defense and shot an insane 45.2 percent from behind the three-point line last season. This is exactly the type of player Boston wants, and apparently they're interested:

Anderson would provide depth on the wing, joining Jae Crowder (a restricted free agent), James Young, Evan Turner and, technically, Gerald Wallace.

The 21-year-old may even be able to find some minutes as a rookie, so long as he plays both ends and knocks down open shots. If he develops into anything more than that, the Celtics would be very pleased.
