Boris Diaw signs contract extension with Spurs on a sailboat
Boris Diaw might be the most interesting man in the NBA.
The 32-year-old Frenchman helped the San Antonio Spurs win their fifth NBA championship with some solid all-around play against the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.
Diaw celebrated in style, enjoying his time in the sun by crashing a bachelorette party on a boat on Lake Travis in Austin earlier this summer.
The NBA renaissance man found himself on the water yet again this weekend, and he used his aquatic surroundings as a backdrop to sign a three-year, $22.5 contract extension with San Antonio.
Diaw posted an awesome photo of the event to Instagram, complete with the caption: "Could i find a better place to sign my extension with the spurs? #gospursgo."
Diaw is right -- what better way to guarantee yourself over $20 million than at the helm of a sailboat on the open seas?
