Bobcat Al Jefferson pushes the paint for All-NBA consideration
Tis the season for hyping up players for All-NBA consideration. But the Charlotte Bobcats' push for Al Jefferson could be considered a stroke a genius.
The Bobcats stirred up a whole new industry for Jefferson called Big Al's Paint (All-NBA Grade) cleverly highlighting their starting center's stellar low-post work.
Here's the "starter kit" sent out to NBA postseason awards voters:

Charlotte's PR folks have also created an entire website called Big Al's Paint devoted to the Bobcat's hardwood skiills, comparing the 6-foot-10 Jefferson to other "leading brands" like Chris Bosh and DeMarcus Cousins, posting rave "customer reviews" from the likes of Doc Rivers and Paul Pierce, and offering up different "Shades of Big Al" swatches such as "Points in the Paint Gray" and "Fadeaway Blue."
Big Al's also got a series of painting tips featuring fellow center Cody Zeller and delivered in a perfectly droll, public access program-like manner below:
