Griffin played 38 minutes in the Clippers’ 117-110 loss to the Wizards on Sunday night, finishing with 26 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in the defeat.

Griffin has played well since sitting out a game Dec. 10 because of right knee soreness, averaging 23.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and five assists the four games since his absence. He suffered a partially torn left quadriceps last season, an injury that ended his postseason early.

Griffin is averaging 21 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists this season.
