Blake Griffin has partially torn quadriceps and will be out at least two weeks
The Los Angeles Clippers will be without All-Star forward Blake Griffin for at least two weeks, the club announced Saturday. An MRI revealed a partially torn left quadriceps.
Griffin suffered the injury in the first quarter of Friday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, although he played 36 minutes of the Clippers' 94-84 win.
The club said it will re-evaluate Griffin's injury in two weeks, the Clippers said. Griffin leads the team in scoring at 23.2 points per game and also averages 8.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists.
