Aminu signs 10-day with Heat

The Miami Heat have added some royalty to their roster.

Alade Aminu, a 6-foot-10 forward from Georgia Tech, will be with the Heat for Sunday's game against Toronto. Aminu signed a 10-day contract Saturday with Miami, which had the rookie in training camp briefly last fall.

Aminu is a Nigerian prince, a descendant from a line of kings in the African nation. He says ``it's no big deal to be around me'' and that he tries to ``carry myself as a humble person.''

Aminu is the brother of Wake Forest standout Al-Farouq Aminu.
