Adam Silver says NBA referees get 90 percent of calls right

NBA referees have incredibly difficult jobs and are under immense pressure, but missed calls have been one of the biggest storylines of the 2016 NBA playoffs. After every close game, the league releases a review of all calls made in the last two minutes, and all but two series have been affected by mistakes by officials in crunch time that the league has admitted to. A number of coaches and players, including LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, have said they feel the reports are harmful to referees overall.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver addressed the state of officiating in an interview with ESPN, and said that while he wishes referees could be 100 percent accurate, they get fewer calls wrong than you probably think.
