76ers postpone game vs Kings due to wet court
Tonight’s game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings has been postponed because the court was wet. Seriously, that’s a reason an NBA game had to be postponed.
If you had plans on this Wednesday night to watch Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers to go up against Demarcus Cousins and the Sacramento Kings, you need to find something else to do.
Wednesday night’s game has been postponed, according to Keith Pompey who shared a few different videos documenting the saturated court.
At the time of publishing, there is no word about the cause of the dampened hardcourt, but whatever the cause, the solution they came up with tonight is postponing the game for a later time. Both teams are off Thursday so perhaps, they could play tomorrow night if it doesn’t interfere with their travel plans and if the court can be sopped up.
In the video below, you can see Pompey show the wet spots on the Wells Fargo Center court and how unsafe it would be for giant human beings to be running up and down this court. It’s another Joel Embiid injury waiting to happen!

Before the official announcement to postpone the game, workers attempted to soak up the wet spots with mops. However, that didn’t do the trick as the wet spots kept coming back.
Don’t you hate when that happens?! The League did an entire episode about the dangers of the wet spot if you need more proof that injuries can happen if not properly tended to.

76ers CEO Scott O’Brien commented on the unfortunate situation, which is only going to make the 76ers look worse in the eye of NBA fans who think the organization is a total fiasco.

Even Boogie Cousins tried to help out as best he could to get this game in.
Game delayed because of court issues…so Boogie mops the floor. Guy really does everything. https://t.co/r5vKgFkBbV

Hopefully, your daily fantasy lineups won’t be hurt too bad by tonight’s postponement.
