Regular-season MVP 2025-26
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Thunder: -800 (bet $10 to win $11.25 total)
What to know: SGA is second in the NBA in scoring (31.6), and his Thunder have the best record in the NBA (61-16). He is also in the midst of a remarkable streak of 137 consecutive 20-point games, the most in NBA history. The Thunder have also won 16 out of 17. Still, Gilgeous-Alexander's odds moved from -500 last week to -300 on Thursday, but he's now back to -800 with Luka Dončić injured and Victor Wembanyama missing Thursday's game.
Victor Wembanyama, Spurs: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
What to know: The Spurs are a force to be reckoned with behind their star center, having won 27 of their last 29 and 11 straight. They have the second-best record in the West and are within arm's length of SGA and OKC, trailing by just two games. Wemby leads the NBA in blocks per game (3.1) and is the favorite to win Defensive Player of the Year (-8000).
Luka Dončić, Lakers: Odds off board
What to know: On Thursday, Dončić was third on the board at +1500. Then, the Lakers got drubbed in OKC and Dončić went down with a hamstring injury, essentially putting an end to his MVP campaign. The Lakers have won 13 of their last 15, and during that streak, it appeared Dončić couldn't really be stopped. In the month of March, he averaged 37.5 points, eight rebounds and 7.4 assists, along with 2.3 steals. Last month alone, he had games of 60, 51, 44, 43, 42, 41 and 40 — all wins for L.A.
