Tracy back in IndyCar part-time

Paul Tracy is back in IndyCar for a limited run, signing a five-race deal with restructured Dragon Racing.

Tracy has been without a full-time ride the past two seasons, making five starts last year. The former Champ Car champion already has a deal lined up with Dreyer & Reinbold for the Indianapolis 500 in May.

Tracy will make his first start for Dragon Racing at Long Beach on April 17.

The former version of the team, de Ferran/Luczo Dragon Racing, folded last month after it was unable to land a sponsorship deal for Tony Kanaan. He signed a full-season deal to drive for KV Racing Technology in March.
