Tony Stewart left Michigan thrilled with result

In what by far was his best weekend since returning from injury, Stewart wheeled the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet to an excellent seventh-place finish in the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

It's certainly no slam-dunk, but Stewart is starting to be competitive again and his best performances typically come in the hot summer months, so he has a chance. We'll see where he goes from here.
