Sting to headline NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards in Vegas

Rock musician Sting has been announced as the headlining act for NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series Awards show at the Wynn Las Vegas on Dec. 2.

The announcement of Sting serving as the headline act came from an exclusive Billboard.com piece where it was announced that Sting will perform some of his classic songs, along with songs from his new album, "57th & 9th", which releases on Friday.

His song "Petrol Head" will serve as the anthem for NASCAR's social media releases leading up to the ceremony.

Sting joins Andy Grammer, Sam Hunt, Aloe Blacc, Kid Rock, among other artists who have served as NASCAR's headline act for the show.
