Stewart's recipe for success: It's all about people

The night before the 2009 Media Tour was scheduled to arrive at Stewart-Haas Racing, the new proprietor parked his truck at the bottom of the hill from the shop to gaze and marvel over what had been accomplished over the 195 days since he became majority owner of the organization.

Less than a month later, the re-established organization enabled Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman to nab top-10 starting spots for the Daytona 500 qualifying races.

Stewart's ability to pull the entire operation together and make such a strong statement this early in the 2009 season, with no testing in the offseason no less, speaks volumes for the potential SHR has moving forward.
