Ryan Blaney's season fueled full-time return of Wood Brothers Racing

Ryan Blaney made the return to full-time participation in the NASCAR Premier Series a success for Wood Brothers Racing.

While Blaney did not win any races, he was more than respectable and ended the 2016 season on a strong note -- which should bode well for 2017.

Blaney registered three top-five and nine top-10 finishes in 36 starts, with fourth-place finishes at Michigan and Chicagoland rating as his season's best. He finished 20th in the points in what was the first full season run by a Wood Brothers Racing team since 2006.

The storied race organization commemorated the season with the cool video below. Check it out.
