Police make three arrests in alleged assaults of Mike Wallace, his daughter
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police confirmed to local media that three men have been arrested in conjunction with an alleged assault on NASCAR driver Mike Wallace and his daughter Lindsey.
Police said 29-year-old Paul Lucas and 22-year-old Nathan Lucas of Indian Trail were charged with simple assault. Randolph Mangum, 24, of Monroe was charged with assault on a female.
Nathan Lucas and Mangum were released on $1,000 bonds. Paul Lucas was released on a $1,500 secured bond. All three have court appearances in Mecklenburg County scheduled for July 22.
Wallace and his daughter were beaten and kicked repeatedly after a Rascal Flatts concert at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte last Friday night.
Wallace said three front teeth were knocked a few inches into his mouth and he has a black eye that is causing impaired vision. He also said he had 10 stitches in his lip.
It was not clear whether the three men charged in the case have attorneys.
