Kyle Busch's truck fails post-race inspection at Chicagoland

Kyle Busch scored another dominating victory in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Chicagoland Speedway, but after the race his winning truck failed post-race inspection.

NASCAR officials confirmed to FOXSports.com Saturday morning that the his No. 18 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota Tundra was too low in the rear during post-race inspection.

NASCAR will evaluate the infraction and any penalties likely will be levied on Wednesday.

Earlier this year at Iowa Speedway, John Hunter Nemechek’s 12th-place-finishing truck was too low in post-race inspection, which earned penalties of 10 owner points and 10 driver points and a $6,000 fine for his crew chief.

Last year at Chicagoland Speedway, Busch’s race-winning NASCAR XFINITY Series car was found to be too low in post-race inspection.
