Kyle Busch's car fails inspection

Controversy continues to follow Kyle Busch.

His No. 18 M&M's Toyota failed postrace inspection at Pocono Raceway after Sunday's 5-Hour Energy 500 Sprint Cup Series race. The left front was found to be too low.

Busch finished third in the race, behind race winner Jeff Gordon and brother Kurt Busch.

The car is being taken to NASCAR's Research and Development Center in Concord, N.C., for further inspection. If any penalties are warranted, they will be announced in the next few days.

This is the latest incident for Busch, who has had a troublesome few weeks. He is already on NASCAR probation because of a postrace incident with Kevin Harvick at Darlington Raceway, and last week he was involved in a postrace altercation with team owner Richard Childress after a Camping World Truck Series race. While NASCAR found Busch to not be at fault for the Kansas fracas, it was another negative headline attached to his name.
