Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne get little rest after late night at Richmond

After a late night at Richmond International Raceway, you could imagine that NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers were eager to get home and sleep in Sunday morning.

But, that wasn’t the case for Jimmie Johnson or Kasey Kahne.

After managing to get three hours of sleep, Johnson, along with is Hendrick Motorsports teammate, were up early to compete in his foundation’s Lake Davidson triathlon in Davidson, North Carolina.

That’s 300 miles in a race car, a 500-yard swim, 12 miles on a bike and a 5K run, all in a span of roughly 12 hours.

Dedication at its finest.
