Friday Sprint Cup Series practice results: Martinsville Speedway

Following a lengthy rain delay of more than two hours, Sprint Cup Series practice finally happened Friday afternoon at Martinsville Speedway.

Leading the way was Ryan Newman in his No. 31 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet.
