Erik Jones opens up in 1-on-1 interview on 'NASCAR RaceDay'

Erik Jones has quickly climbed through the ranks of NASCAR's top national touring series, becoming the youngest NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion, then winning four races in the XFINITY Series last season.

In his first season in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Jones got caught up in a wreck in the Daytona 500 but saw better results last week at Atlanta.

There has been adversity along the way as Jones lost his father, Dave, to cancer three months after being diagnosed. Jones opens up to FOX NASCAR's Kaitlyn Vincie in the video above, and also spoke about it in Las Vegas on Friday.
