Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick offer ray of hope to grieving friend
Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s good friend Shawn Brawley lost his father, Tommy, last week -- and NASCAR's most popular driver wanted to do something to help his grieving friend feel better.
He knew Brawley would greatly appreciate a Busch Light die-cast car and reached out via Twitter to Kevin Harvick to see if his fellow NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver could make it happen.
Harvick immediately responded by sending along an autographed die-cast that hopefully has helped to lift Brawley's spirits.
So condolences to the family of Tommy Brawley, who lost a loved one. And kudos to both Earnhardt and Harvick for helping facilitate a very nice gesture to help them through the grieving process.
Earnhardt certainly appreciated Harvick following through on his request, and made sure everyone else knew he appeciated it, too.
