Complete results from Friday's Cup practice at Phoenix

Kurt Busch led Friday’s lone round of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice at Phoenix International Raceway in advance of Sunday’s Good Sam 500 (FOX, 3 p.m.).

Busch, the pole winner last week at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, lapped the one-mile PIR track at 138.46 miles per hour in the No. 41 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet.

Behind Busch came the two most recent Daytona 500 winners, Denny Hamlin, who ran 138.467 mph in his No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, and the No. 22 Team Penske Ford of Joey Logano, 138.254 mph. Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick completed the top five.

So far, the first three races have produced three different winning drivers (Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski), three different winning teams (Joe Gibbs Racing, Hendrick Motorsports and Team Penske) and three different winning manufacturers (Toyota, Chevrolet and Ford).

Harvick leads all drivers with seven Cup victories at PIR, while Johnson has four.

Sprint Cup qualifying begins at 6:45 p.m. ET and will be televised on FS1.
