Will Power, Charlie Kimball wreck on Lap 1 in Long Beach
It didn’t take long for the first Full Course Yellow to fly during the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on Sunday.
Charlie Kimball - who started seventh - and Will Power - who started ninth - tangled on the opening lap in Turn 4 to bring out the first caution period.

Power had been on the inside of Kimball coming out of the fountain but Kimball committed to the turn in Turn 4 while Power still had a wheel on the inside. The contact sent both cars into the wall. Power was able to continue while Kimball was forced to retire.
Scott Dixon led Lap 1 after a poor start by pole-sitter Helio Castroneves.
