Watch the final practice session before Pole Day qualifications

UPDATE: The start of final practice has been delayed by 15 minutes.

The final practice session ahead of Pole Day starts at 12 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Pole Day serves as the final qualification session that will set the grid for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The drivers who qualified 10th - 33rd on Saturday will get to take to the track from 12 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. ET, and then the drivers who qualified 1st - 9th will take to the track from 1:15 p.m. - 2 p.m. ET for practice.

With the times being wiped clean from yesterday, each driver will have just one shot to qualify later on. The drivers who qualified 10th - 33rd on Saturday will fight for those spots, while the drivers who qualified 1st - 9th on Saturday will fight for the top nine spots on the grid.

Even if a driver in the 10 - 33 session sets the fastest time of the day in qualifying on Sunday, the highest they can start is 10th.
