WATCH: Fastest run at 2015 Pikes Peak ran by 1,368-hp electric car

Rhys Millen set the fastest time last Sunday during the 2015 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in his 1,368-horsepower electric-powered eO PP03.

Millen’s time was a new record for an electric car on the 12.42-mile course, which runs up the Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado.

Millen completed the run in 9:07.222 with an average speed of 79 mph.

Sebastien Loeb, driving a Peugeot 208 T16, recorded the fastest run ever up Pikes Peak back in 2013, with a time of 8:13.878.
