Watch and listen to a 1905 land-speed-record contender fly up Goodwood

You can watch cars and bikes of all sorts take on the annual Goodwood Festival of speed in West Sussex, England, including cars from as far back as 1905.

Mark Walker brought along a 200-horsepower 1905 Darracq for this year’s running, a car which was built to try and attempt to break the land speed record (which, back in the day, was around 125 mph).

Now you might think that drivers would be careful and take it easy when assigned the task of racing a classic piece of automotive history up the hill in Goodwood, but - as Walker proves - you would be wrong.
