Twelve wild rides of 2015: Damien Flack's Bathurst barrel-roll

Editor's note: From Dec. 1 to Dec. 12, FOX Sports will be counting down the 12 craziest rides caught on video in 2015.

In by far the most intense crash of 2015, this featured Damien Flack barrel-rolling down the Conrod Straight at Mount Panorama Circuit in Australia back in October.

It happened during a Aussie Racing Cars event, which was part of the Bathurst 1000 weekend. Flack was hit from behind by his brother Adrian, sending him flying roof-first into the outside barriers. After flippping end-over-end down the straight, Flack caught fire after finally coming to a stop on the opposite side of the barriers.

Flack was miraculously alert after the accident, but suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung.

Another horrific crash occured during qualifying for the Bathurst 1000, less than 24 hours before Flack's incident. Chaz Mostert was on a run down the mountain when he lost control of his car and slammed into the barriers. Mostert suffered a broken leg and wrist, while three volunteer track workers were also injured.
