Rosberg, Hamilton have fastest practice times in Brazil

SAO PAULO (AP) Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg posted the fastest practice time on Friday at Interlagos ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix ahead of already crowned champion Lewis Hamilton.

The German had the best result of the day, clocking a lap of 1 minute 12.385 seconds in the afternoon session, which was run in light rain.

His teammate Hamilton was next with a best lap of 1:12:843, also in the afternoon session.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen came third and fourth, respectively. Home favorites Felipe Massa of Williams and Felipe Nasr of Sauber finished 10th and 13th.

Mercedes has already won the constructors' title and Hamilton has clinched the drivers' title - suggesting it may be another victory on Sunday for F1's dominant team in the penultimate race of the season.

Hamilton won the season title last month at the United States Grand Prix. He arrived in Sao Paulo a day late, acknowledging he was delayed following a late-night car crash in Monaco where he ran into a stationary vehicle.

He has declined to give details and has declined questions.
