Ride onboard record-breaking lap at the Nurburgring

The Porsche 918 Spyder’s lap record at the Nurburgring Nordschleife is no more.

Lamborghini has been fairly quiet about its Huracan Performante and, while we knew it was fast, what we didn’t know is that the car performed magic at the German circuit back in October.

On Oct. 5, 2016, Marco Mapelli turned a lap time of 6:52.01, shattering the Porsche 918 Spyder’s production car lap record at the track by about five seconds.
