Official Twitter account established for Michael Schumacher

Official verified accounts for seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher and the Keep Fighting non-profit initiative have been established on Twitter.

Schumacher’s Twitter account was actually created back in November, around the same time as his official Instagram account, but only just sent out its first Tweet on Thursday.

During the announcement of the Keep Fighting non-profit initiative, Schumacher’s manager Sabine Kehm made it clear that Schumacher’s health “is not a public issue, and so we will continue to make no comment in that regard.”

Schumacher continues to undergo rehabilitation at his home in Switzerland, following a serious skiing accident on Dec. 29, 2013.
