Noodle from Gorillaz becomes global ambassador for Jaguar Racing
Noodle from the band Gorillaz has been announced as the new global ambassador for Jaguar Racing, as the team gets set for its first start in Formula E.
In a short film directed by Jamie Hewlett, the animated guitarist takes a hot lap in the team’s electric open-wheel car, which will make its on-track debut Sunday at the Hong Kong ePrix (3:30 a.m. ET LIVE on FS1).
Jaguar is hoping that Noodle’s partnership with the team will help inspire the next generation of young engineers, men and women alike.
While discussion of a fifth album for the British band is imminent, drivers Adam Carroll and Mitch Evans will be making just their first starts in Formula E this weekend, behind the wheel of the Panasonic Jaguar Racing machines.
