NHRA Pro Mod car almost clears the wall in Houston
NHRA Pro Mod driver Bob Rahaim was unharmed after a bumpy ride during qualifying on Saturday.
Rahaim lost control of his Chevrolet in the first round of qualifying during the NHRA SpringNationals at the Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown Texas.
He ended up making a hard impact with the wall which almost sent him up and out, but instead his car crossed back over to the other side of the track and made another hard impact before coming to a rest.
Fortunately, NHRA reports that Rahaim was able to exit the car under his own power and was evaluated and released by onsite emergency staff.
