NASCAR heads both north and south on Labor Day weekend. Following Brett Moffitt’s last-lap win at Michigan, the Camping World Truck Series will go road course racing at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Meanwhile, the Xfinity Series joins the Sprint Cup Series at the track too tough to tame, Darlington Raceway, for a NASCAR Throwback weekend.
In the open-wheel racing world IndyCar makes their big return to Watkins Glen, replacing the aborted Boston street course event. Drivers and fans are excited to see the permanent road course back on the schedule now and in the future.
Overseas, Formula One will be racing on the high speed Monza track for the Italian Grand Prix.
There will be plenty of other racing on track this weekend too. The NHRA highlights the schedule, with their biggest race, the U.S. Nationals, live from Indianapolis. MotoGP will compete in Great Britain from the Silverstone circuit, and the FIA World Endurance Championship will run for the first time at Mexico City.
