German racing driver Nico Rosberg “broke the Internet” Friday morning by announcing his decision to retire from F1 just five days after winning the World Championship.

Multiple motor racing personalities from across the globe were quick to take to Twitter after the shock decision, and congratulate Rosberg on his career in Formula One.
