Judd at injured Franchitti's side

In January, IndyCar racer Dario Franchitti and actress Ashley Judd announced they were splitting after 11 years of marriage. But with the couple having yet to file divorce papers, rumors have swirled as to whether they were reconsidering.

After Sunday's horrific crash in Houston that hospitalized Franchitti, we may have a better idea.

In fact, according to the San Francisco Chronicle, Judd "reunited with Franchitti after a brief split in January."

The accident, which you can see below, happened during the last lap of the Houston Grand Prix doubleheader. Franchitti, trying to make a pass to the outside of Takuma Sato, caught the back of Sato's car and launched into the fence.

The accident showered debris into the stands, injuring 13 spectators and an official. Two spectators and Franchitti were hospitalized, Franchitti sustaining a broken right ankle, two fractured vertebrae in his spine and a concussion. He had surgery on the ankle Sunday night and is expected to remain in the hospital for at least a few more days.

Driver Tony Kanaan on Monday tweeted a photo of himself and fellow driver Scott Dixon visiting one of the injured fans in the hospital.
