Everything you need to know for tonight's Firestone 600

For the second time in five days, the Verizon IndyCar Series is oval racing. Saturday night, the series wraps up Round 14 of its 16-round season with the closing laps of the Firestone 600 at Texas Motor Speedway.

The race was initially scheduled to begin on Saturday, June 11, but was postponed one day due to weather.

So the race began on that Sunday but, on Lap 42, Josef Newgarden and Conor Daly were involved in a scary incident, with Newgarden suffering a fractured clavicle and wrist. Rain soon began to fall under the extended caution period, and the race was suspended after the completion of 71 of the 248 laps.

Since then, Will Power has picked up three wins in five races, closing in on points leader Simon Pagenaud.
