Daniel Ricciardo spent summer break experiencing LA car culture

Formula One’s summer break ends this weekend with the Belgian GP at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. On Sunday, the drivers will be getting suited up to race for the first time since the German GP on July 31.

Australian racing driver Daniel Ricciardo is currently one of the sport’s biggest stars. Heading into this weekend’s race, the Red Bull Racing driver sits third in the points, and he qualified fifth on the grid for Sunday’s race.

So, how do you spend your summer break as one of F1’s biggest stars?

Well in Ricciardo’s case, he decided to check out LA and experience some of the city’s car culture. The 27-year-old got to cruise around in some lowriders, check out some classics in Beverly Hills and drive around some windy roads in modern marvels with his mates.

And why not live it up a little? Red Bull Racing has certainly made gains in the past weeks, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Ricciardo back on the top step of the podium before too long. Video by Donut Media.
