Cody Gilmore reportedly suffered two fractured vertebrae in Supercross crash

Cody Gilmore has reportedly suffered a non-displaced fracture of the C3 and C7 vertebrae in his neck after a crash during the St. Louis Supercross, according to friend and 1990 125SX East Regional Champion Denny Stephenson.

The incident took place at the start of the 450 LCQ at The Dome at America’s Center Saturday night.

Gilmore and several after riders were thrown off their bikes after tangling in the run down to the first turn. The race was red flagged as Gilmore had to be tended to by the Alpinestars Medical Crew before he was carted off.
