360 Video: Ride onboard a lap at the North West 200

Planes, paragliding and automobiles – whatever the occasion, 360 videos have proven to be popular and awesome.

And now, BBCNI Technology Innovation Group has released a 360 video of an onboard lap around the North West 200 circuit.

Each year, one month ahead of the Isle of Man TT, the best motorcycle street racers in the world head to Northern Ireland to compete at the 8.97-mile circuit.

One such rider is John Burrows, who had six GoPro Hero 3+ Silvers mounted to the back of his bike as he turned some laps in practice around the Portstewart circuit in 2015.
